Central New York Region members participate in various speed events grouped under the Club Racing banner and governed by the General Competition Rules (GCR) of the SCCA. These include Road Racing (wheel-to-wheel competition) Time Trials (timed events, most often on closed courses such as race tracks), and Hill Climbs (timed events, most often on roads which have been closed for the event).
